Go By Bike breakfast 2017
Council is encouraging people to leave the car at home, and join their fellow cyclists on the way to work or school, for Go By Bike day on Wednesday 15 February.
Cyclists are invited to join in a breakfast party at 1903 Square (next to Cathedral Steps) between 7.30 and 9am.
As well as a free breakfast of yoghurt, fruit and muesli cups or Pic's peanut butter and toast, there will be free coffee or hot chocolate, live music from The Plinkers and a pile of fun activities and giveaways.
Nelson is a great place for biking, and Go By Bike Day on 15 February is a timely reminder that riding your bike instead of taking the car is a cheap and healthy way of getting about.
