Arrow Street for tree felling



Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that Nelson Tree Specialists Ltd proposes to temporarily close ARROW STREET to ordinary vehicle traffic.  It will be an offence under this Act for any persons without an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicle traffic during the period of closure.  The road to be closed:

The cul-de-sac end of ARROW STREET from Quebec Road to about 150m west of Quebec Road

This closure is for tree removal on the slope above Arrow Street.

Time of closure: from 9 am until 5 pm on Wed 10 May 2017. If the weather is inclement on Wednesday 10 May, then either of the following days: Thursday 11 May or Wednesday-Thursday 17-18 May.

Alternative vehicular access for residents beyond the closure point would be via the steep and narrow right-of-way from Quebec Road down to the end of Arrow Street.  Residents wishing to exit Arrow Street through the closure point will experience a 15-minute delay.  This exit can be arranged by calling Richard at 021-2966-827.
