Collingwood Street for the trolley derby
PROPOSED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES
NELSON TROLLEY DERBY
Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Nelson Trolley Club proposes to temporarily close the following roads to ordinary vehicle traffic. It will be an offence under this Act for any persons without an authorised permit to use the roads for ordinary vehicle traffic during the period of closure. The roads to be closed:
- COLLINGWOOD STREET, from Nile Street to Brougham Street
- BRONTE STREET, from Richmond Avenue to 30 m east of Collingwood Street
- MANUKA STREET, from Collingwood Street to St Mary’s Church
Time of closure: Saturday 11 March 2017 from 7am until 7pm
In the case of inclement weather, the following alternative date will apply: Saturday 18 March 2017.
This closure is for the annual Collingwood Street trolley derby.
Any person objecting to this proposal is called upon to lodge notice of his objection and grounds thereof in writing before August 19 August 2016, attention Mark Hollows of Nelson City Council, PO Box 645, Nelson, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The final decision of whether the road will be closed will be advertised on Council’s website at www.nelson.govt.nz.
