At its meeting yesterday the Regional Transport Committee resolved to recommend to Council that the Nelson Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP) 2015-21 is varied to include a total of $4.97M for “Noise Improvements” and $350,000 for “Safety Enhancements on the State Highway Network”.
Nelson City Council welcomed today’s announcement from the Cephas Property proposing a substantial investment in Nelson’s city centre. Cephas has acquired a significant block of land beside Wakatu Square with plans to create an urban shopping precinct in the heart of the CBD.
