Between 7 October to 20 December 2019 access for walkers and mountain bikers to the Codgers recreation area will be restricted while commercial pine forest harvesting activities are carried out.

Where possible track access will be made available at weekends so that residents and visitors can continue to enjoy the reserves, though some trails will need to remain shut for safety reasons. Please ensure that you follow all signs and instructions and do not cross any fences or tape.

To minimise disruption to users of the recreation area the harvesting activities will be managed in two phases, with different closures for weekdays and weekends.

Phase One of the operation will take place between 7 October -15 November 2019

Phase Two of the operation will take place between 29 October - 20 December 2019

You can view a detailed map of all trails in the Atmore and Tantragee reserves, which includes the Codgers recreation area, on the Trail Forks website.

You can see a web page of the closure maps or download a high-resolution PDF of the Closure Maps (19MB PDF).
