Status: Operative
The following amendments were made Operative and has been incorporated into the Nelson Air Quality Plan (NAQP).
- In accordance with Section 44A of the Resource Management Act (RMA), the Council is required to implement the National Enviromental Standard for Air Quality (NES-AQ). The NES-AQ addresses particulate matter and mercury admissions, as such we have amended Appendix AQ2.1.a and AQ2.1.b to align with the NES-AQ.
