Jewels Shine at Nelson Jewellery Week

Proudly presented by Arts Council Nelson, Nelson Jewellery Week had Whakatū sparkling from 10–16 April 2025. Visitors enjoyed exhibitions from Aotearoa and Australian makers, hands-on workshops with celebrated jewellers and artist talks.

Highlights included Evening Jewels, where guests filled the CBD for opening night, KOHĀ at Nelson Provincial Museum, exploring taonga and connection with works by Neke Moa, Sofia Tekela-Smith, and Stevei Houkāmau, and a packed Floortalk at Refinery ArtSpace, where audiences delved into Handshake 8’s exhibition Materialise.
