Status: Operative
The following amendments were made Operative and has been incorporated into the Nelson Resource Management Plan (NRMP).
Alterations to Designations DE14 (Nelson Intermediate School) and DTR4 (New Zealand Transport Agency) were incorporated into the NRMP in accordance with s181, a number of minor corrections and updates were also made under Cl.16 and Cl.20A, Schedule 1 of the Resource Management Act and the removal of Restricted Coastal Activites pursuant to Policy 29 of the NZCPS 2010.
Main Changes
- Designation DE14 extends the purpose of the designation from "Nelson Intermediate School" to "Nelson Intermediate School and Early Childhood Education Facility".
- Designation DTR4 amends the boundary of the designation at the intersection of State Highway 6 and Cable Bay Road and State Highway 6 at the Teal River bridge.
- Policy 19 of the New Zealand Coastal Policy Statement 2010 (NZCPS) removes the requirement for Councils to specify an activity as a Restricted Coastal Activity (RCA), and directs councils to remove RCAs from Plans without using the Schedule 1 process.
