Applying for a resource consent can be a daunting process as there is a lot to consider. Depending on the scale of your activity you can submit it yourself or use a consultant, either way it is worth taking the time beforehand to make sure your application is well prepared prior to lodging it.
An application that is well prepared with all matters considered is likely to proceed through the process more efficiently (time and cost) than one that is less well prepared and requires more backwards and forwards with further information requests.
