Creative Communities Local Funding Scheme

Each year, Creative New Zealand provides funding to local authorities based on a per capita basis to support arts initiatives in the community. There are three funding rounds in the year which close in July, November and April. Typically projects receive grants of around $1,000-$2,000.

Arts Council Nelson are funded by Nelson City Council to administer the scheme and full information can be found on their website www.acn.org.nz/funding, including application forms, application guides in 11 languages, previous grant recipients and project report forms.
