Maitai Oral Histories
In 2020, Nelson City Council commissioned a series of oral history videos about the Maitai River. The series collected the memories of people who grew up, lived and worked in the Maitai Valley.
Elma Turner Library and Civic House are near the end of their useful lives. If we don't act now, Nelson risks losing spaces our community depends on. This is not just a problem to fix. It is a chance to build something better. Help us understand which option works best for our community.
