Status: Operative
The following proposed plan changes were made Operative and has been incorporated into the Nelson Resource Management Plan (NRMP), pursuant to Clause 21 of the first schedule of the Resource Mangement Act.
Stoke Valley Holdings and Solitiare Investments Ltd have introduced these private plan changes as a long term, integrated planning solution to rezone a total of appoximately 190 hectares in the Ngawahatu Valley to provide for planned and sustainable growth for residential development in this part of the City.
Main Changes
- Private Plan Change 05/03 (Stoke Valley Holdings) involved the rezoning of approximately 52 hectares from an existing Residential zone, covered by a special schedule, as well as an area of Rural zoning, to be largely incorporated into the Standard Residential zone with provisions for a high density residential area within the zoning. In addition, an area is to be xzoned for Suburban Commercial purposes. The legal dewscription of the subject property is Lots 1 to 35, DP 353023.
- Private Plan Change 05/04 (Solitatire Investments Ltd) involved the rezoning of approximately 138 hectares of land from Rural to Residential, including a small area of High Density Residential land and an area with a Higher Density Small Holdings zoning. This land lies between the two Ngawhatu valleys of Highland Valley and York Valley. The legal description for the land is Lots 36 & 38 DP 353023, and Part of Lot 37 DP 353023, CT 233530.
No appeals were received on these Private Plan Changes.
