In line with our Waste Managementand Minimisation Plan, Nelson City Council has a range of waste minimisation grants
available to our community. All activities are assessed against the waste
hierarchy (the waste hierarchy priorities avoid, reduce, reuse, repair before
activities such as recycling and recovering. Waste of course is right at the
bottom of the pile).
Assessment criteria are provided for each
programme.
