Nelson City Council has developed a draft masterplan for the Haven Waterfront, setting out a shared, long-term vision for the prime waterfront area on Haven Road.
A masterplan sets the big direction. It does not design buildings, and it does not spend money. This plan proposes improved access and connectivity, building re-use and access to the sea. Before the Council decides on the Masterplan, we want your guidance on the options. These are outlined on this website.
