The Nelson Regional Development Agency (NRDA) is a Council-Controlled Organisation that serves as the Regional Economic Agency and Regional Tourism Organisation for Nelson Tasman. The NRDA's purpose is to promote economic growth and improve the well-being of the region through collaboration, capability building, and attracting resources.

The NRDA commissions regular economic reports to track a range of measures across the region, including economy, growth, employment, tourism, housing, productivity, population, skills and more.
