Temporary Road Closure - Park Street

Nelson City Council has received a proposal from Nelmac to temporarily close the following road to ordinary traffic between the dates listed below: 

Park Street – entire length 

Date and time of scheduled closure: Wednesday 15 March 2023. Closed between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.   

Contingency date and time: Thursday 16 March 2023. Closed between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.   

The closure is for the installation of a backflow device on the water main.  

Delays are likely. Vehicle access for businesses will be available. Rubbish and recycling bins will be collected as normal.  
Pedestrian access will be available.
