Clean Heat Warm Homes Programme
People affected by the Council's burner controls were eligible for financial assistance up until their burners were phased out under the Clean Heat Warm Homes scheme. Now that the phase out dates have passed, funding under this scheme is no longer available.
However, you may be eligible for the government's ENERGYWISETM funding subsidies for insulation via a private provider operating in Nelson. Visit the Genless website for details.
The Council also provides free home assessments and advice on heating and energy efficiency through the Eco Building Design Adviser.
